Oxford, Ohio, is approximately one hour by car from either the Greater Cincinnati International Airport or the Dayton International Airport. It is also easily accessible from I-70, I-75, and I-71. The closest hotel within walking distance to campus is the Holiday Inn Express. Please consult the Oxford Visitors and Convention Bureau ( http://www.enjoyoxford.org/ ) for information on additional accommodations in the Oxford area.

Two-hour metered parking is available on nearby streets. The Oxford Municipal Parking Garage, at Main and Walnut, is two and a half blocks away and offers reasonable day rates.

For a longer visit, it is suggested that you obtain a visitor's parking permit, which allows the visitor to park in any University parking area. Visit Miami's Parking Office in the Campus Avenue Building at 301 South Campus Avenue - Room 15. The hours are Monday through Thursday 8am - 6pm and Friday 8am-5pm. Summer hours are 7:30am-4:30 pm Monday-Friday. Registration requires a valid driver's license and license plate number of the vehicle to be registered. Visitors who receive a University parking citation may contact the Parking Office for assistance. The Campus Avenue Parking Garage offers parking at $1 an hour. No permit is needed.
